Mission: Possible
A New State of Mind
Greetings from the Program Committee for SWASFAA 2008!
I know that December seems a long time away, but trust me, it’s not! As
is so typical of our crazy lives, before we know it we’ll be saying
"where did this year go" or "thank God the hot summer is
over...I’m so tired of the heat!"
Are you ready for some fun and a great learning
experience? Little Rock, Arkansas will be the place to be December
10-12! Come visit beautiful Little Rock and enjoy the sights! We are
already in the process of working on an agenda that will make the
conference a great learning experience. Our mission is Possible
with A New State of Mind. In addition, the obvious benefit of
spending time with colleagues who are dealing with the same issues you
are in the financial aid office is always a positive experience.
The annual SWASFAA conference will be held December
10-12, at the Peabody Hotel in Little Rock, Arkansas. The program will
begin at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, and will conclude by noon on Friday!
Conference registration will be $250 when it opens later this summer.
If you are not a member of SWASFAA, I encourage you to
become one. The SWASFAA Network has proven itself time and again a
valuable resource for Student Financial Aid professionals.
